Brenda found an envelope with the artwork above in the mailbox at 3301 Grand Route Saint John. If the great artwork wasn’t enough, there was a check inside the envelope for $100!


deadmau5Generous Faubourg St. John neighbors have been dropping off donations and candy at 3301 Grand Route Saint John for the old-style Halloween celebration that will take place on Halloween from 5 until 7:30 pm in and around Fortier Park. Someone will be at 3301 Grand Route Saint John all day if you would like to make a donation or drop off candy for the event. Please make your check out to the Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association. The Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association is a 501c3 non-profit.

depp2zYou should know that we have some extremely generous neighbors who wish to remain anonymous that contribute year after year to help make Bounty on the Bayou happen. It says a lot about them and our neighborhood.

The Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association will be sponsoring the 7th annual “Bounty on the Bayou”, our safe trick -or treating event for childen.

From 5 pm to 7:30 pm Halloween Night, Friday October 31

The streets adjacent to Fortier Park will be closed so the trick-or-treaters can traverse safely:     1300 Block of Mystery and Grand Route St. John from Moss to Esplanade



NOFD Engine 35 and a few Firefighters will be on hand with the Firetruck accessible to the children.

4 NOPD policeOfficers will be on duty and handing out Glow Necklaces to the kids.

A G-rated DJ in Fortier Park with Halloween music for those dancing babies

Complimentary bottles of water and juice boxes will be available in Fortier Park for our trick-or-treaters

And lots of houses giving out treats!
